Urology Locums Physician in North Carolina - Block Call Schedule

Inpatient urology locums with robotic cases and block scheduling available starting March 2026 in North Carolina.

Highlights

  • 7 to 14 consecutive shifts per month
  • Block call scheduling; no clinic
  • Complex case mix including robotics, laparoscopic, and radical procedures
  • All travel and malpractice with tail covered

Practice Setting

  • Inpatient call coverage only
  • Hospitalists typically admit patients
  • 3 to 5 consults and 2 to 3 surgeries per 24 hour shift
  • Epic EMR

    • Schedule

  • 24 hour in-house call (7 am to 7 am)
  • Seeking consistent monthly coverage
  • Long term assignment available

    • Cases and Procedures

  • General urology, nephrectomy, prostatectomy, radical cystectomy
  • Robotic, laparoscopic, ureteroscopy, PCNL, adrenalectomy
  • No pediatric or advanced endoscopy

    • Requirements

  • Board Certified in Urology
  • Active North Carolina medical license
  • ACLS and BLS required
  • Clean background preferred

    • Travel Accommodations

  • Airfare, lodging, car rental, and mileage covered
  • Closest airport : Charlotte Douglas International (CLT)
