We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Specimen Processor to join our client's dynamic team in Kennewick, WA! In this role, you will play a key part in specimen collection, processing, and data entry, all while adhering to strict protocols and regulations. Pay Rate : $17-$19 / hr

Responsibilities :

Handle and process specimens for toxicology and medical laboratory testing.

Follow procedures to identify every patient specimen with a two-step ID process.

Troubleshoot and resolve sample or order errors according to established guidelines.

Communicate with other departments to resolve specimen issues.

Operate computer systems to enter patient data, track specimens, and retrieve test results.

Maintain documentation, including patient medical records and quality records, ensuring accuracy.

Assist in ordering laboratory supplies and maintaining appropriate inventory levels.

Requirements :

High School Diploma or GED.

Must meet CLIA regulations to perform waived testing.

Laboratory experience.
