LICENSED PSYCHOLOGIST - DEVELOPMENTAL DISABILITY EVALUATIONS

OPWDD / Medicaid | NYC In-Person | $70 / hour

Position : Licensed Psychologist (1099 Contractor)

WHAT BL3ND TELEPSYCH PROVIDES

We Handle Everything Except the Clinical Work :

All Testing Materials - Complete assessment kits (WISC-V, WAIS-IV, ADOS-2, Vineland-3, etc.)

Software Access - Q-global, PARiConnect, and all scoring platforms

Patient Referrals - Steady stream of referrals from our Medicaid managed care partnerships

Billing Support - We handle all insurance billing, claims, and reimbursement

Administrative Support - Scheduling, patient intake, documentation assistance

Credentialing Assistance - Help with Medicaid / OPWDD enrollment if needed

Your Only Responsibility : Complete the psychological evaluation - administer the cognitive and adaptive tests, interpret results, and write the final report.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations for OPWDD eligibility

Administer standardized cognitive assessments (WISC-V, WAIS-IV, Stanford-Binet)

Administer adaptive behavior assessments (Vineland-3)

Conduct autism diagnostic assessments when indicated (ADOS-2, ADI-R)

Interpret test results and integrate clinical observations

Write comprehensive evaluation reports that meet OPWDD standards

Provide clinical recommendations and referrals as appropriate

EVALUATION DETAILS

Typical Evaluation Components :

Clinical interview with patient / caregiver

Cognitive assessment (IQ testing)

Adaptive behavior assessment (Vineland-3 interview)

Autism screening / evaluation (if indicated)

Behavioral observations

Review of records

Comprehensive written report

COMPENSATION

$70 / hour for all clinical time, including :

Patient / caregiver interviews

Test administration

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS

Required :

Active New York State Psychology License (in good standing)

Doctoral degree (PhD or PsyD) in Clinical or School Psychology

Experience with cognitive and adaptive behavior assessments

Knowledge of developmental disabilities and OPWDD evaluation criteria

Strong report-writing skills

Preferred :

Experience with OPWDD evaluations

ADOS-2 certification / training

Bilingual (Spanish, Mandarin, or other languages common in NYC)

Experience working with Medicaid populations

Cultural competence with diverse communities
