Job Description
- Assist in the development of formal product training infrastructure for internal and external purposes which addresses inspection, maintenance, troubleshooting and operational best practices
- Assist, supervise, perform testing, and commissioning of equipment to meet internal and customer requirements.
- Assist and coordinate with Service and Engineering teams to resolve operational service issues.
- Assist in maintaining good interfaces between local service teams and global engineering teams to ensure 24 / 7 / 365 coverage for urgent service on operational issues
- Assist in service reporting, failure analysis and investigations, coordination with engineering and reporting to customer Service Quality Management representatives
- Assist in Technical Manual production and standardization, Service Bulletins, Information Bulletins.
- Keep up to date with relevant technology and with the operation of relevant hardware and software within the Product Line.
- Perform any other duties where collaboration is required to maximize NOV CAPS / ISE value with customers.
- Maintain customer relationships, stay in tune with product feedback and performance through customer's eyes.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED requiredValid driver's licenseTechnical diploma or trade designation as a heavy equipment technician, automotive service technician, rig technician, or millwright an asset.Experience in the operation, assembly, testing, and design of oilfield service equipment is an asset.Must have at least two years' experience or demonstrate equivalent knowledge in hydraulic assembly, troubleshooting, and repair; mechanics; pump and / or valve assembly, disassembly, or repair; electrical control systems operation and diagnosis; and / or oilfield experience in maintenance and repair of NOV CT / N2 or related systems.Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, schematics, and codes.Ability to work with a diverse group of employees, departments, and customers.Responsible to follow all applicable company and corporate policies, guiding principles, procedures and programs; including but not limited to the process map, support processes, health, safety and environmental requirements.Technical Requirements
Microsoft Office & Outlook knowledge is requiredHSE Requirements
Mix of indoor and outdoor work, possible exposure to dust, fumes, or gases, and changes in temperature and humidity.Work around or on functioning equipment.Required to wear steel toe boots, safety glasses, hard hat, and ear protection as needed as per company and customer HSE policies.May be required to possess valid certifications in first aid, WHIMIS, and H2S or others to visit customer well sites.HSE Orientation.Additional Requirements
