Controls Automation Specialist

About this opening : The Automation Controls Specialist will be responsible for their assigned projects from receipt of order until completion of installation. This role will include but is not limited to : electrical design, pneumatic design, programming, testing and installation.

Duties :

The programming will consist of but is not limited to : PLCs, HMIs, Robots, VFDs, Servo drives and vision systems. Individual will be required to perform field service on previously installed equipment as well as equipment installed by other manufacturers.

Qualifications :

• Proficient in PLC and / or robot programming languages.
• Excellent analytical skills to be applied in the design, programming and troubleshooting of automated equipment.
• 2+ years of automation experience
• PLC and HMI programming experience
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and be a team player.
• Must be willing to travel up to 15% of the time
• Ability to pass a drug screening and background check
• Must have and maintain a valid driver's license
• Must be a U.S. Citizen
