We are currently seeking a Cloud DevOps Engineer-Must have Top Secret Clearance to join our team in Fayetteville, North Carolina (US-NC), United States (US).
Duties :
- Responsible for distributed and managed services, automating the installation, configuration, and maintenance of platform services.
- Manage system tuning for reliability and efficiency and guide and manage software releases for new features and support users through consolidation.
- Perform the administrative operation of server hardware and software.
- Ensure system security and execute practices and procedures.
- Troubleshoot system related problems.
- Maintain knowledge of operating systems / software analysis and technological developments and applications.
- Recommend future direction or projects to management.
- Provide expertise and direction in the development or modification of software programs and applications to enhance an operating system.
Basic Qualifications :
Minimum 5 years of experience with IT / Software.Minimum 3 years of experience with Kubernetes.Minimum 1 year of experience with DevOps methodologies.Minimum 1 year of experience with VMware vSphere / ESXi / NSX-TUS CitizenActive Top Secret Clearance with ability to obtain TS / SCI.Must live a commutable distance from the client's site in Fayetteville, NC or Washington, DC.Preferred Qualifications :
Undergraduate DegreeExperience in Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud and OpenStackExperience with Kubernetes, Chef, Ansible, BOSH, or related automation / orchestration toolsExperience with a platform as a service product such as Cloud Foundry, Heroku, Elastic Beanstalk, or similarExperience working with DNS, NTP, SAML, OAuth 2, Active DirectoryUnderstanding of systems monitoring, alerting and analytics (Prometheus, New Relic, AppDynamics, Cacti, Graphite, ELK, Nagios, Ganglia, Splunk, Log Insight, Realize Operations, Datadog, etc.)Background in Windows deployment, automation, and related technologiesExperience with database (e.g. MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, MSSQL) and messaging middleware technologies (e.g. RabbitMQ)Participated in or led agile development teamsWorked with Concourse, Spinnaker, Jenkins, Bamboo, TeamCity or other Continuous Integration toolsExperience with networking and related technologies (e.g. load balancing / DNS / SSL / firewalls / NAT / SDN)Experienced in using GitExperience in release managementExperience supporting production systems using Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practicesCompetent to work at a high technical level on all phases of systems engineering activitiesAbout NTT DATA
