Interim Clinical Director Behavioral Medicine Needed In Alamogordo, NM

The Position

An Interim Clinical Director Behavioral Medicine is needed to manage nursing services and staff within the behavioral health department.

Key responsibilities include implementing and monitoring programs and practices to ensure the delivery of safe, efficient, and high-quality nursing care across behavioral health services. This includes standardizing nursing policies, monitoring patient outcomes, supporting staff development, and advising leadership on nursing strategies and clinical performance.

The ideal candidate will have solid clinical and leadership experience. Must be highly organized, patient-focused, and able to adapt quickly to changing needs. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills will be critical.

Must be available to start within 2-3 weeks of acceptance.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Active NM RN license or Compact RN license required.
• Minimum of three to five years of clinical patient care experience in a behavioral health or related setting, including at least two years in a healthcare leadership role overseeing nursing staff in a hospital or health system.
