Job descriptionOn Call Requirements : 24 hours to see a consult No code stroke response; neuro emergencies are handled via teleneurology Coverage Type : Inpatient neuro consult service Patient Population : Average Number of Patients Per Day : 15 Areas of Rounding : ED, ICU, and 6 other areas APP Support : One APP available Monday through Friday Documentation System / EMR : EPIC Practice Setting : Inpatient Reason for Coverage : MD resignation Dates of Coverage : ASAP - Ongoing No Response to In-House Codes : Neuro emergencies are handled via teleneurology No Other Neurohospitalists : You will be the sole neurohospitalist during the locums coverage Locum Responsibilities : Focus on providing top-tier neurohospitalist care to a diverse adult patient population Board Certified : Required ACLS / BLS : Required State License : Virginia (willingness to obtain is acceptable)
