NASCAR seeks a talented professional to join in the position of Computational Fluid Dynamics and Aerodynamics Engineer based in Concord, NC .

The Computational Fluid Dynamics and Aerodynamics Enginee r oversees NASCAR's computational fluid dynamics (CFD) initiatives, running simulations from CAD model creation through post-processing. The role also involves producing detailed analytical reports and supporting wind tunnel testing for research and development efforts and new vehicle submissions.

Duties include but are not limited to :

• Lead the CFD program in collaboration with TotalSim USA, managing aero team concepts and requests from CAD through post-processing.
• Maintain CFD models for all three NASCAR national series, supporting performance evaluation, liftoff analysis, and thermal studies.
• Assist with R&D wind tunnel testing, including vehicle preparation, prototype part fabrication, and data analysis.
• Support the new vehicle submission process.
• Communicate effectively with internal teams and external partners.
• Travel approximately 10%, including some weekends.
