Hirewell has been exclusively retained to lead the search for a Director of Asset Management with a vertically integrated commercial real estate development, investment, and property management firm.

Based in their Houston office, this individual will oversee a portfolio of office and industrial assets, leading asset performance and executing business plans across the portfolio.

Responsibilities include :

  • Develop and execute asset-specific business plans for assigned office and industrial properties.
  • Conduct ongoing analysis of asset performance, financial metrics, and market conditions to identify value-add opportunities and risk.
  • Oversee leasing strategy, annual budget preparation, financial analysis, and ensure compliance across debt, financing, and investor reporting.
  • Collaborate cross-departmentally with the capital markets team to assist with transactions, manage relationships with brokers and various stakeholders, and liaise with the construction management team to execute capex projects.
  • Provide thought leadership within the asset management function, mentoring junior members.

Qualifications include :

  • Bachelors degree in Business, Finance, Real Estate, or related field (Masters preferred).
  • 5-7 years of office and industrial real estate asset management.
  • Proven track record of managing institutional-quality assets and executing value-add strategies.
  • Experience with lease negotiations, financial modeling and analysis, tenant relationship management, and capital project oversight.
  • Proficiency with MS Office, Argus, and other financial / valuation software.
