Internal Medicine Physician

Internal Medicine Program Director MD / DO -Tallahassee, FL Must be Board Certified in Internal Medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine

Per the ACGME formal requirements to be considered for Program Director, applicants must have :

Current / prior academic appointment as Associate Program Director or Program Director in an ACGME-accredited residency program within the past five (5) years

Minimum of three (3) years of formal academic medicine appointments and training program teaching and administration experience

Documented scholarly activity in the form of research, publications, poster presentations, book chapters, etc. within the past five (5) years

Be willing to combine Administrative and Diagnostic (teaching) Responsibilities

Have strong administrative and team building skills

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Candidates with recent scholarly activity such as peer reviewed funding, publication of original research or review articles in peer-reviewed journals, chapters in textbooks, publication or presentation of case reports or clinical series at scientific society meetings, or participation in national committees or educations organizations highly encouraged to apply.
