Location : Rye Brook, NY

Shift : 11 : 00 PM - 7 : 30 AM

Days : Tues - Sat

Shift Differential pay available

Full-time : Benefit Eligible

In this role, you will :

Perform a vital part of the patient care process through embedding and preparing slides for routine H & E and special stain procedures

Performs and documents scheduled preventative maintenance

Recognize when troubleshooting is needed for processing, embedding, cutting, staining

Work in a fast-paced laboratory environment with biological and chemical hazards

Champion safety, compliance, and quality control

All you need is :

New York State License as applicable

1 year of laboratory training or experience performing high complexity testing preferred

Strong reading, writing, and analytical skills

Ability to operate general laboratory equipment, including but not limited to : telephones, computers, automated analyzers, centrifuges, microscopes, manual and automated pipettes, and audible alarms

Salary starting $40.00$60.00 / hour base pay. Shift differential pay rate for 2nd Shift (3 : 00pm to 11 : 00pm) in additional to base pay rate is $3.00 / hr, for 3rd Shift (11 : 00pm to 7 : 00am) in additional to base pay rate is $5.00 / hr and for Weekend Shift (7 : 00am to 3 : 00pm) in additional to base pay rate is $6.00 / hr. Pay is commensurate with experience; geographic differentials to the pay range may apply.
