Job Description

Summary :

We are seeking a Certified Medical Assistant (MA-C) for a 13-week contract-to-hire opportunity in the Advanced Cardiac Support outpatient clinic located in Seattle, WA. This is a local-only position for candidates residing within a 50-mile radius. The ideal candidate will have at least 6 months of MA experience, preferably in cardiology, but applicants from general / family practice backgrounds will also be considered.

Responsibilities :

• Perform standard clinical duties including vital signs, 12-lead ECG, and patient rooming
• Prepare exam rooms, assist with patient positioning / draping, and document histories, medications, and allergies
• Support cardiology providers with patient follow-ups and clinic procedures
• Process authorization forms, refill requests, and telephone triage within scope
• Ensure timely lab draws and coordination of results
• Float between clinics, if required, based on skillset
• Maintain adequate supplies and stock exam rooms
