Contract Closeout Specialist

Overview

JST is seeking a Contract Closeout Specialist to join our team.

This is a full-time remote position. JST offers a full benefit package, a collaborative work environment and strong company culture. Veterans and military spouses are encouraged to apply. This position is contingent upon contract award.

Contract Closeout Specialist Responsibilities

• Identifies and prepares contract files for final closeout by Contracting Officers.
• Ensures delivery, inspection, and acceptance of contractual end items is complete before recommending final closeout.
• Works closely with the various stakeholders to include, but not limited to program managers, technical points of contact, requirements personnel, and Contracting Officers to ensure final acceptance and payment.
• Works with Financial Management Analysts to identify excess funds for de [1] obligation and ensures proper accounting for special test equipment, tooling, and Government furnished property.
• Uses reports, advice, and assistance from stakeholders to make determinations and closeout recommendations.
• Uses various business / software systems to complete contract closeout functions.
