General Manager responsible for daily operations, including equipment operation, inventory, staffing, and customer service.
Responsibilities
Operate all equipment and use proprietary technology.
Stock ingredients from delivery area to storage, work area, and walk-in cooler.
Prepare all products.
Receive and process telephone orders and in-person orders.
Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
Clean equipment and facility approximately daily.
Orient new hires and provide ongoing on-the-job training for all employees on store products and procedures.
Conduct inventory counts.
Create schedules and staff the store.
Monitor food and labor while managing shift operations.
Communicate effectively to lead an efficient team.
Provide written instructions and verbal customer service as needed.
Essential Function / Skills
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly (may use calculator).
Make correct monetary change.
Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
Motor coordination between eyes and hands / fingers for rapid, precise movements.
Enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
Work Conditions
Exposure to varying and sometimes adverse weather during outside tasks.
In-store temperatures range from 36 °F in cooler to 90 °F+ in some areas.
Exposure to food fumes, cornmeal dust, hot surfaces / tools up to 500 °F, sharp edges, and moving mechanical parts.
Work involves standing, walking, sending, carrying, driving, pushing, climbing, stooping, bending, crouching, squatting, reaching, and hand tasks as described.
Use of pizza peel, rolling cutter, automated machines, and Domino's technology (Driver app, Digital Shoulder Surf, Car Side Delivery).
