The Global Operations, Client Services & Administration group delivers world-class safety and soundness for the global financial services industry. The team provides DTCC's portfolio of core securities and superior transaction processing and client services support in an environment that minimizes risk and cost while maximizing efficiency.

The Institutional Trade Processing group delivers industry-leading solutions that enhance safety, efficiency, and transparency in global financial markets. ITP provides DTCC's suite of post-trade services for institutional transactions, enabling seamless trade matching, confirmation, and settlement across asset classes. By minimizing operational risk and cost while maximizing automation and straight-through processing, ITP ensures clients can meet regulatory requirements and achieve optimal trade lifecycle management.

The Impact you will have in this role :

As the Product Owner Director , you will shape and drive the UI strategy across all ITP applications, ensuring seamless, intuitive experiences that maximize client value. You will translate the product vision into actionable deliverables, guiding multiple squads to deliver high-quality UI solutions aligned with business objectives and regulatory requirements. Your leadership will influence design standards, foster collaboration, and ensure delivery excellence across the enterprise.

Your Primary Responsibilities :

  • Lead UI Delivery Across ITP Applications : Own the end-to-end UI roadmap, ensuring consistency, usability, and innovation across all products.
  • Strategic Alignment : Partner with Product Managers, internal / external stakeholders, and regulators to align UI initiatives with product strategy and compliance requirements.
  • Backlog Ownership & Prioritization : Define and manage scope, prioritize features, and maintain a clear product backlog to maximize business and client value.
  • Agile Leadership : Guide squads through Agile ceremonies, fostering collaboration among Scrum Masters, Business Analysts, Developers, and QA teams.
  • Design Governance : Establish and enforce UI standards and best practices, ensuring accessibility, scalability, and adherence to design principles.
  • Requirements Decomposition : Translate complex requirements into actionable stories, workflows, and acceptance criteria, ensuring clarity and feasibility.
  • Stakeholder Engagement : Lead design walkthroughs, demos, and feedback sessions to validate functionality and enhance user experience.
  • Operational Readiness : Collaborate with Integration, Documentation, and Support teams to ensure smooth deployment and operational excellence.
  • Risk Management : Identify and mitigate delivery risks, ensuring compliance with established procedures and ethical standards.
  • Continuous Improvement : Drive innovation in UI delivery processes, tools, and methodologies to enhance efficiency and quality.
  • Qualifications :

  • Minimum of 10+ years in product management or product ownership roles, with at least 5 years in leadership positions driving UI / UX delivery in complex enterprise environments.
  • Bachelor's degree Business, Computer Science, Design, or related field (or equivalent experience). Advanced degree preferred.
  • Talents Needed for Success :

  • Domain Expertise : Strong knowledge of financial services operations , particularly Post-Trade Processing , and familiarity with regulatory requirements.
  • Technical Acumen : Proven ability to work with Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban) and tools such as JIRA , Confluence, and design systems.
  • Leadership Skills : Demonstrated success in leading cross-functional teams , influencing stakeholders, and managing multiple squads to deliver high-value UI solutions.
  • Strategic Thinking : Ability to translate product vision into actionable roadmaps , prioritize features, and balance client needs with operational efficiency.
  • Communication : Exceptional ability to articulate design and product decisions to technical and non-technical audiences, including senior leadership and external clients.
  • Agile Leadership : Demonstrates deep expertise in Agile Software Development practices (Scrum and Kanban) to guide multiple squads in delivering UI solutions for ITP applications.
  • Tool Proficiency : Leverages work management tools such as JIRA to manage product backlogs, prioritize UI features, and enable transparent collaboration across teams.
  • Creative Problem-Solving : Drives innovative, user-centric solutions by engaging stakeholders and delivery teams to overcome complex UI and workflow challenges.
  • Strategic Execution : Translates the Product Vision into a clear UI roadmap and backlog , ensuring delivery of high-value features that enhance usability and operational efficiency across all ITP applications.
  • The salary range is indicative for roles at the same level within DTCC across all US locations.
