American Traveler is seeking a Cath Lab Technologist with at least 2 years of recent interventional scrubbing experience and BLS / ACLS certification for day shift assignments.
\n \n Responsibilities\n
Work in a hospital setting with 2 dedicated Cath Labs and 1 Hybrid ORCare for adult and geriatric patient populationsPerform procedures including IABP, Rotablator, Shockwave, Structural, PFO, TAVR, MitraClip, and Watchman interventionsUtilize equipment such as GE Innova IGS, Phillips, GE MacLab, and Epic EMR4x10 hour day shifts from 6 : 30 AM to 5 : 00 PMOn-call coverage required, including up to 10 weekdays and 3 weekends per contractWeekends and holidays may be required as scheduledFloating within the hospital is expected as neededDuties include scrubbing and monitoring a range of interventional and structural proceduresOn-call responsibilities are split between weekdays and weekends as scheduledTeam utilizes a variety of advanced cardiovascular equipment and imaging systemsCPI certification may be required prior to startReturn travelers must have a 6-month gap from last assignment; former staff must have a 12-month break before returning as a travelerMost locations allow for one contract extension followed by a required 6-month breakRTO requests must be submitted with initial application and may not exceed 7 daysNo block scheduling or guaranteed schedule restrictionsAll candidates must complete onboarding modules as required by the hospital\n \n Requirements\n
Minimum 2 years of recent Cath Lab / interventional scrubbing experienceCurrent BLS and ACLS (AHA) certifications requiredARRT-R and / or RCIS certification requiredActive MD or Compact License required at time of considerationEPIC documentation experience preferredMust provide 2 satisfactory professional referencesMust be comfortable floating within hospital scopeLocal candidates must live more than 50 miles from the facilityFirst-time travelers are acceptedLicense required if applicable\n Benefits\n
