Medical Surgical Oncology - Registered Nurse

Experience :

• 24 months of role experience is required from any number of months.
• 10 months of Medical Surgical Oncology experience is required from any number of months.
• Travel experience is preferred from any number of months.
• Experience with Epic is required from any number of months.

Additional Details :

Education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program.

References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years.

Shift : Day 3x12-Hour (07 : 00 - 19 : 00) / Night 3x12-Hour (19 : 00 - 07 : 00)

Block Schedules : No

Oncology experience preferred but not required

No set schedule, no set weekend

The facility determines the complete schedule (could possible end up working every weekend). Must be flexible

The majority of patients served on 19 James are admitted with the following patient care needs :

Heavy focus on infection prevention protocols and patient falls

Special Equipment :

B450 monitors GE telemetry system

Bladder Scanner

Alaris pumps

Stryker beds

Required to float within units of equivalent or lower level of acuity.

Skill Required :

RTO required with submission, must be built into contract

Former employees are eligible for a travel assignment once they have been away from the facility for 6 months or more

Current employees are ineligible to be hired as a traveler at any Ohio State University hospital location

Maximum days off : 7 days
