Description :

The position is for a PCU RN working three 12-hour day shifts.

On-call, weekends, floating, and holiday shifts are required.

No block schedules are available.

Candidates will be interviewed for Intermediate Care level RNs.

ICU trained nurses are welcome to apply if they are willing to work in an Intermediate Care unit.

BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications are mandatory.

A state nursing license is required prior to the start of the position.

Epic charting experience is necessary.

Candidates must have prior experience in handling patients with dysrhythmias.

All applicants must meet the required qualifications to ensure patient safety and care quality.

This position involves a patient ratio of 3 on the unit for days, nights, and weekends.

The average daily census is 12 patients.

Interdisciplinary support includes physical therapy, respiratory services, and other support teams.

Additional skills required for this role include blood product administration, care of ventilated patients, and management of cardiac drips.

Training in isolation precautions and telemetry monitoring is also needed.

The unit caters to adult and geriatric patient groups.
