Market Research Analyst
Our corporate client is looking for a Market Research Analyst for their growing team! High-level details of this role :
- Onsite requirements : 3 days onsite per week
- Position type : Full-Time / Direct Hire
- Start date : as soon as the right candidate is found, looking to move quickly
Primary Responsibilities :
Gain in-depth knowledge and understanding of the companys products and services, including product features and capabilities, strategies, market share, product and service positioning and messaging, go-to-market processes, differentiators, product goals and objectivesLead the competitive analysis of the strategies, offerings, capabilities, market strengths and weaknesses of competitorsResearch and analyze data to understand customer needs, market trends, and competitors activities and offeringsApply both qualitative and quantitative research methodologies to interpret data and identify trendsPlan and lead customer / user interviews and focus groups to understand customer needs for current and future product offeringsProvide actionable insights used to allow the company to make informed decisions about products, pricing, marketing strategies, and overall business strategiesCreate and deliver reports and presentations that communicate your research findings to key stakeholdersLead cross functional work teams with sales, product management, and business development to :Translate customer / prospect feedback into product requirements and enhancementsDevelop action plans on positioning, messaging, product launch strategies, sales enablementDetermine / evaluate the effectiveness of current channelsCreate go-to-market plans for new products and servicesDevelop and implement action plans to counter the advantages of competitorsMap and analyze customer experience steps to identify / recommend improvementThe ideal candidate :
A minimum of 5 years experience as a Marketing Analyst, Market Researcher, or relevant roleAbility to effectively work within a matrixed organization, with multiple management / executive levelsExperience using statistical software and techniques for data analysisCreative, analytical and technical aptitudePreferred : BA / BS degree with advanced degreeExperience in education, ed tech, assessment or related fieldPreferred background in working with companies that offer a diverse product portfolioIdeal candidates will be able to demonstrate how they have quickly learned a companys products and solutions.
In this position, you may have access to client or customer systems, confidential and / or proprietary information or data. This position is onsite and requires you to work closely with other individuals in a collaborative team environment.
