Responsibilities Position is based in a hospital setting performing general ultrasound exams Schedule is Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 8 : 00 AM to 6 : 30 PM with a required 30-minute lunch 10-hour day shifts, 4 days per week Call is required as part of the assignment Experience with anatomy and physiology imaging using a variety of sonographic equipment is required Opportunity to learn or utilize Echo skills, though not required Performs dimensional ultrasonic recordings to diagnose diseases and monitor organ function Operates sonographic equipment and communicates diagnostic results Acts as the first-contact interface with patients to meet their imaging needs Responsible for patient safety protocols during procedures Position does not accept local candidates within a 50-mile radius Requirements Active RDMS certification is required Current AHA BLS certification is required Graduate of an accredited Sonographer program Minimum of two years of experience as a sonographer in a United States hospital Must be able to provide care appropriate to a wide range of patient ages CPI certification is mandated References from manager or supervisor within the last 12 months preferred, with at least one from the most recent employer Must have active license if applicable; no pending licenses allowed Must possess a valid US Social Security Number Required documents include SS card, driver's license, COVID and flu vaccination proof Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-618945.
