A company is looking for a Doc Controls Director to lead the document and records management department for a business unit.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and administer the document and records management department, including policies and procedures for project document controls
Ensure compliance with corporate-level document control policies and applicable laws related to document management
Oversee personnel management, including hiring, training, and development, while adhering to budgetary targets
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or related field with 15+ years of relevant experience, including 5 years in a supervisory role
Preferred membership or certification in EMC or ARMA
Knowledge of document control processes and legal obligations related to document management
Proven ability to drive excellence in document and records management through process improvement and compliance
Experience in managing projects, schedules, and budgets effectively
