Job Details

Duration : 3-Month Contract (with possible extension)

Shift Hours : 2 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PM

Primary Job Responsibilities :

Provides comprehensive nursing care in a correctional medical facility, including :

Patient assessment and monitoring

Medication administration

Emergency medical intervention

Vital signs tracking

Treatment plan implementation

Patient care documentation

Specialized medical procedures (IV therapy, wound care, oxygen therapy)

Staff supervision and training

Medical inventory management

Coordinating medical appointments and prescriptions

Key Professional Duties :

Manage healthcare for 20-60 bedridden inmates

Organize and oversee 'code blue' emergency team

Perform specialized medical procedures

Conduct medical evaluations

Maintain detailed medical records

Serve as liaison between medical staff and institutional administration

Major Worker Characteristics :

Advanced knowledge of professional nursing procedures

Understanding of state and federal healthcare regulations

Proficiency in medical equipment operation
