About The Position

Job Title : LTC Registered Nurse

Certifications : BLS required

Must-Have :

Dementia training required prior to start.

First time travelers welcomed.

Ability to contribute positively to a culture of teamwork.

Flexibility, as assignments may change during shifts.

Description :

This position involves working in a long-term care setting.

The unit has two areas with a total of 40 beds.

On days, there will be one RN and one LPN on each unit.

Nights will have one RN for both units.

CNA support consists of up to three on each unit during day / evening shifts.

Nights will have one CNA in one area and two CNAs in the memory care area.

Daily rounds are performed by 4-5 private practice physicians.

Shifts for RNs and LPNs are from 6 AM to 6 PM.

CNA shifts are from 6 AM to 2 : 30 PM, 2 : 15 PM to 10 : 45 PM, and 10 : 30 PM to 7 AM.

There is a holiday and weekend requirement.

Scrub color is not specified.

The charting system used is MEDITECH.

All staff will be expected to comply with mandates.

This role is suited for adaptable individuals capable of working within a changing environment.

The focus is on delivering high-quality care in a collaborative setting.
