In this role, you will coordinate and collaborate on the ordering and inventory of necessary supplies, while ensuring the overall cleaning and decontamination of recovery instruments and equipment necessary for daily operations. You will also handle human tissue for transplantation safely and responsibly. Extensive travel may be required.

Key Responsibilities :
- Perform aseptic recovery of musculoskeletal tissue and skin. Assist in tasks such as room setup, labeling, rinsing, and packaging tissue, and reconstructing the donor.
- Facilitate the tissue donation process and maintain professional relationships with hospital, funeral home, and medical examiner staff. Ensure the safe recovery of human tissue for transplant and research.
- Assist with the transportation, receiving, and releasing of donors, ensuring adherence to policies and procedures.
- Manage ordering and inventory of critical ocular, tissue, and organ recovery supplies to maintain smooth operations.
- Contribute to the cleaning, decontamination, assembly, and processing of recovery instruments and equipment needed for daily tasks.
- Coordinate with vendors for repairs and services required for facilities and equipment, including the transportation of recovery instruments for sterilization.
- Assist with physical tasks such as moving and lifting donors and conducting blood tests as needed.
- Perform quality assurance inspections of incoming orders and maintain accurate records per protocols and safety regulations.
- Complete other duties as assigned.
Qualifications :
High School Diploma or equivalent.Experience in a related Allied Health field (e.g., EMT, ORT, CST, SA, ST, or Tissue Banking).Valid driver's license with the ability to meet MVR underwriting requirements.Proficient in computers and Microsoft Office applications, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.Benefits :
