Visible local non-profit organization is seeking support of a Benefits Specialist to assist the HR team. Salary is $65-$90k DOE

RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE BENEFITS SPECIALIST :
The Benefits Specialist will partners with the leadership team to understand and execute the organization's benefits and wellnessThe Benefits Specialist will partner with the benefit's broker and other key vendors to maintain strong relationships and ensure service delivery standards are metOversee all employee leave plans, Americans with Disabilities (ADA), worker's Compensation-related injuries, FMLA processes, short term and long disability programs and administrationOversees COBRA notification process including notification to new hire and terminated / separated employeesOversee the management of employee benefits records, files, and reportsCollaborates with the finance team to ensure billings and invoices are reconciled and paid timely for all benefit related programs and vendorsEXPERIENCE PREFERRED FOR THE BENEFITS SPECIALIST :
The Benefits Specialist must have extensive experience with benefits enrollmentExperience with FMLA and short-and long-term disabilityIntermediate Excel skills - ability to perform Pivot Tables is a plus, not a mustPreferred candidate will have a keen eye for detail and disposition to work diligentlyBachelor's degree in Business Administration or HR Management is a plusSalary is $65-$90k DOE . This is an in-office position.
