Job Summary
We're looking for a driven and organized Recruiter / HR Assistant to join our HR team. This role is ideal for someone who loves people, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is passionate about helping others succeed. You'll support the HR department in sourcing talent, coordinating interviews, onboarding new hires, and assisting with general administrative HR tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with posting job openings across multiple platforms
- Source, screen, and schedule interviews for candidates
- Support onboarding of new hires, including background checks and credentialing
- Maintain accurate employee records and digital files
- Respond to routine HR inquiries and direct employees to appropriate resources
- Assist with compliance tracking, training records, and credential expirations
- Provide general administrative support to the HR Manager and recruiting team
Recruitment
Collaborate with leadership to identify staffing needs internallyDraft and post job openings on job boards, social media, and community networks.Screen incoming applications and conduct phone interviews to assess qualifications and fit.Schedule and coordinate in-person or virtual interviews with hiring managers.Conduct reference checks, license verification, and background screening coordination.Attend local job fairs, networking events, and school partnerships to support recruitment efforts.HR Support & Onboarding
Prepare and send offer letters, onboarding packets, and pre-employment paperwork.Facilitate a seamless onboarding experience, including orientation scheduling and documentation.Maintain accurate and compliant employee files, certifications, and training records.Track employee credentials to ensure ongoing compliance with state and agency regulations.Assist with employee engagement activities, recognition, and retention programs.Respond to general employee questions and support daily HR operations.Requirements
Previous experience in HR, recruiting, or office administration preferredExcellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsAbility to handle sensitive information with confidentialityComfortable with Microsoft Office Suite and HR software platforms (preferred)High school diploma or equivalent (required); HR coursework or certification is a plusPerks & Benefits
