As an Internal Medicine Hospitalist, you’ll play a pivotal role in managing hospitalized patients while collaborating with an expert team of specialists, primary care providers, and case managers.

Your Role as a Hospitalist :

Provide high-quality inpatient care by rounding on assigned patients multiple times per day as needed.

Manage hospital admissions and coordinate care with specialists.

Participate in call coverage with a shared group of hospitalists and internists (overnight in-hospital presence not required).

Ensure safe transitions of care by working closely with PCPs, case managers, and outpatient teams.

Engage in medical education by teaching medical students and house staff.

Be a leader in hospital committees, initiatives, and KSC Hospital Service / IM Department activities.

What You Need to Succeed :

Graduate of an accredited Internal Medicine training program in the U.S.

Active Texas Medical License

Board Certified / Board Eligible in Internal Medicine

Strong commitment to inpatient care and teamwork
