Software Quality Assurance Specialist

Clair Global has a unique opportunity to join their dynamic IT team as a Software Quality Assurance Specialist. This highly motivated individual will have pro audio knowledge and experience with pro audio technology, as well as experience or the aptitude to learn software quality assurance. This is a new position that will push the right candidate to autonomously think outside the box while working with the best in the business as they develop new proprietary audio control software.

In addition to pro audio experience, the ideal candidate will have strong written and verbal communication skills, pay close attention to detail, and be able to work independently. They will need to be the type of person who questions everything, has patience, and enjoys and has success with problem solving

Qualifications / Requirements : The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and / or ability required to perform the essential functions of this job while exercising independent judgment and discretion.

• Pro Audio / Acoustic experience
• Experience with Acoustic Prediction and Modeling software, specifically EASE Focus. Experience with other systems, including Soundvision and / or ArrayCalc, a plus
• Experience with Amplifier Control Software, specifically LAKE Controller
• SQA Experience
• Mechanical knowledge / understanding of how professional audio products work
• Knowledge of script writing a plus
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to exhibit patience and remain disciplined
• Ability to work independently
• Exceptional problem-solving skills
• Meticulous / Strong attention to detail
