Seeking : Addictions Counselor
Degree : Associates or Bachelor's degree in Additions or similar human service field.
Licensure : Licensed or Certified Addiction Counselor with the Board of Professional Counselors and Therapist Required
Experience : At least 2-3 yrs experience with Mental Health / Substance Abuse Population; Child / Adult Experience
Work Hours : 8 : 00 am to 5 : 00 pm, Monday-Friday; Saturday's from 9 : 00 am to 1 : 00 pm
Qualifications and requirements :
- At minimum, counselors must have approved trainee status, certification or licensure through the Board of Professional Counselors and Therapists
- Positive attitude
- Capability to work in a team atmosphere
- Knowledge of addiction
- Comfortable with computers and computer software
- Excellent Documentation skills!
- Must have active certification Status, CSC-AD, CAC-AD, LGADC / LGPC, LCPC / LCADC through the Maryland Board of Professional Counselors

Maintain an assigned caseloadComplete clinical assessmentsComplete and maintain patient treatment plansProvide individual and group counseling sessionsMaintain electronic patient chartsProvide care coordination with outside providers and treatment programs as needed
