PE license (SE a plus)Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering & 5+ years post-graduate structural engineering experienceProficiency with wood, steel, concrete & masonry systemsStrong knowledge of building codes & value engineeringSkilled in Microsoft 365, Bluebeam, Revit, and structural design software (Enercalc, RISA, Simpson, Woodworks preferred)Ability to lead projects, mentor junior staff, and manage priorities independentlyOccasional travel required for client site visits and meetingsStructural Engineer PE Preferred Skills
SE designation or eligibilityExperience mentoring engineersFamiliarity with storm / sewer drainage, water piping, erosion control, and pavement / concrete design systemsStructural Engineer PE Key Responsibilities
Lead structural design staff through design and construction phasesCollaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to guide the development and execution of structural concepts and systems, while overseeing the design and delivery of drawings and specificationsDevelop and review structural concepts, drawings, and specificationsUse engineering software to calculate gravity, lateral, and foundation loadsCoordinate with clients, contractors, public agencies, and vendorsConduct site visits and attend client meetings (occasional travel required)Provide timely responses to contractors during constructionEnsure designs meet internal quality standards
