Sr. Telecommunications Specialist

Inova IT Voice Engineering is looking for a dedicated Sr. Telecommunications Specialist to join the Team. This remote role will be full-time working Monday - Friday day shift.

The Sr. Telecommunications Specialist serves as expert in the technical aspects of video / voice networks and communication technologies. Responsible for design, architecture, installation, modification and maintenance of voice and video telecommunications systems and services for assigned Inova Health System locations. Performs all services necessary to design, install and move telephone and voice connections including, but not limited to, programming software, basic ACD applications, call processing applications and other voice applications. Performs all services to repair and troubleshoot pagers, paging systems, wireless and cordless communications systems and telephone connections. Maintains complete and accurate documentation involving completion of service request, resolutions of issues reported through leadership, other members of the team, customer support line, or approved project work efforts. Consistently communicates technical issues with other members of the team. Trains and orients designated staff and provides feedback to manager as appropriate. Develops, manages and communicates assigned projects and project plans. Designs and implements of VoIP and PBX systems.
