OB Hospitalist

Spartanburg Regional Healthcare System located in Spartanburg, SC is seeking to hire OB Hospitalists to join a new and growing program. The OB Hospitalist will provide emergency/unassigned/OBED, call coverage and assisting with the management of private OBGYN deliveries and GYN emergencies. Private OBGYN will over their own post-op patients. New residents are welcome to apply. This is a great opportunity for someone looking for more of a work-life balance!

Highlights of the opportunity include:

• Busy 14 bed L&D with over 3,500 deliveries a year and 12,000 OBED encounters

• New OBGYN residency program starting July of 2025, offering resident support and teaching opportunities

• Hospitalist will attend all deliveries, emergency OB consults, and cover 6 bed OBED

• Double Coverage Physician Model with CNM support

• Full Time Requirements: 12-14 12-hour shifts per 4 week block

• 24-hour in-house OB anesthesia, Level III NICU provider coverage & MFM available

• Compensation package including: o $6,000 CME Allowance

o Multiple Attractive Retirement Options available

o Paid Malpractice to Include Tail Coverage

o $50,000 Sign on Bonus, student loan forgiveness, and relocation assistance available

o Earning potential in excess of $400,000 annually
