(“SEL”) seeks professional, innovative and detailed individuals for our Lead Integration and Automation Engineer position located at our field office in King of Prussia, Pennsylvania.

Lead Integration and Automation Engineer (Multiple Openings) Responsibilities : The Lead Integration and Automation Engineer at Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories, Inc.

(“SEL”) will be required to maintain and deploy a detailed understanding of electric power system engineering integration, automation, and industrial control systems (including related protocols, serial and network communications, security, and logic programming).

The incumbent will apply the principles of electrical and manufacturing systems engineering and : (1) lead in defining, developing, implementing, and analyzing power system product specifications, functional tests, and system validation processes for company products to ensure flawless system integration; (2) lead in the development of technical and market analysis to evaluate proposed products or enhancements; (3) provide high-level engineering support involving the installation, commissioning, and operation of SEL electrical power engineering automation and control systems; (4) draft and maintain power system product documentation, including application guides, data sheets, and instruction manuals; (5) evaluate competing power system integration and automation products and enhancements; and (6) follow, measure, and improve company’s engineering and R&D processes.
