Position Summary :
The Industrial Maintenance / Automation program is seeking a qualified candidate for Adjunct. Responsibilities include teaching sections of courses within this program (Maintenance Principles, Fluid Power, Electrical Theory, PLC and Robotics) during both daytime and evening hours, as well as participation in professional development and service to the division, college and community. Other duties may be assigned by the immediate supervisor.
Required Skills :
- Thorough knowledge of NEC
- Ability to use curriculum to lecture and demonstrate within a class or lab environment.
- Knowledge of safety in the industrial maintenance field.
- Ability to work with a variety of industrial tools and operations including pneumatics, hydraulics, pipe bending, rigging and lifting.
Preferred Skills :
Industry recognized certification.At least two years of experience teaching in a vocational setting.Prior experience developing curriculum related to industrial principles.Required Qualifications :
