Shipping Clerk (Madison)

Job Title : Shipping Clerk

Contract Duration : 4 months with potential to extend or convert

Location : Madison, WI

Work Hours : 6 : 00 am - 2 : 30pm

Qualifications / Skills Needed :

Main responsibilities :

Put-away tasks : Using put-away sheets to match SKU / item numbers with storage locations.

Picking orders : Locating and counting items based on SKUs and locations.

Dock work : Assisting with unloading small parcel shipments (UPS, FedEx), moving them to pallets. Around 250 packages per day.

Physical requirements :

Lifting up to approximately 40 pounds.

Use of pallet jacks (manual and electric), but no forklifts.

On feet all day.

No requirement to receive items into SAP system; system tasks are handled by the existing team.

Ability to interact and work as a team player.

Friendly, attentive, and able to follow instructions.
