Primary Purpose : The Assistant Quality Manager assists in ensuring food safety and quality standards are met by being the lead point of contact for all quality assurance and food safety documents. Reports directly to the Quality Assurance Manager.
Responsibilities :
Quality Programs and Compliance
- Primarily responsible for the management and organization of the SQF program documents, keeping all documents and binders up to date and audit ready.
- Maintains all ID preserved programs, including but not limited to, Organic, Kosher, Halal, NGMO.
- Performs product and material traces to ensure accuracy of data and inventory management systems; performs mock trace exercises as required.
- Maintains and sends reports to support leadership reviews of KPI’s as needed.
Audit Support
Support, lead companywide facility quality audits and inspections.Additional Duties
Engage employees in Good Manufacturing Practices, programs and policies to educate and improve compliance.All other duties as assigned by the Quality Assurance Manager.Lead in the resolution of consumer complaints
