Unit : Telemetry (Ortho / Trauma), 7-South Floor Number of Beds : 34 Contract Duration : 13-week travel nursing contract (Start : 10 / 22 / 2025, End : 1 / 21 / 2026) Shift : 12-hour day shifts (7 : 00 AM – 7 : 00 PM), every other weekend required Hours per Week : 36 Employment Type : Travel RN contract Estimated Weekly Salary : $1360 - $1460 Registered Nurse Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Texas Minimum 1 year of recent Telemetry or Medical-Surgical nursing experience Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) preferred Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR); MediTech proficiency a plus Strong clinical communication and teamwork skills Telemetry RN Responsibilities Provide high-quality patient care with a 6 : 1 patient assignment ratio on a busy Telemetry / Ortho / Trauma unit Monitor and assess patients using Welch Allyn Vital Signs and GE Telemetry Monitoring equipment Perform clinical procedures including wound vac management, CPM machines, external fixation, and bracing Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team : charge nurses, patient care technicians (PCTs), and unit clerks Accurately document care and interventions in MediTech EMR system Contribute to a positive, team-oriented nursing culture Adhere to unit guidelines and dress code (Navy scrubs required) Join a unit recognized for ICARE and Daisy Award excellence.
