The Emergency Department at Methodist Fremont Health is the only emergency department in Dodge County and provides 24-hour service to nearly 16,000 patients annually. Our experienced team helps us average a door-to-physician time significantly below the national benchmark of 20 minutes. Area ambulances and medical helicopters can immediately transport patients to nearby trauma or burn centers.

Around the clock, 24-hour care is provided by board-certified physicians and highly skilled nurses. They are supported by full-time laboratory, pharmacy, radiology, surgical, and intensive care services and have access to board-certified physicians in virtually every medical specialty. Fremont Health Medical Center is proud to have several nurses with specialized certification in emergency nursing.

The Emergency Department features designated trauma / critical care rooms, orthopedics and obstetrical / gynecological care rooms, private treatment and triage rooms, and a decontamination room for exposure to hazardous material.
