Schedule Details : Nights, 8 and 12-hour shifts, every third weekend rotation, and holiday rotation.
Sign-On Bonus : $15,000 for 3rd Shift.

Unit Overview : Join our 24-bed Neurosurgical Unit providing care for a diverse patient population, including :
Post-operative care for craniotomies, AVMs, and tumor resections.Cervical, thoracic, and lumbar spine surgeries.Patients experiencing hemorrhagic and ischemic strokes as part of our Comprehensive Stroke Program.High volumes of cervical and spinal surgeries, alongside medical overflow cases.As part of the Aurora Neuroscience Innovation Institute (ANII), you'll have exposure to cutting-edge neurosurgical techniques and care.

Utilize the nursing process to assess patient needs, implement care interventions, and evaluate care effectiveness.Anticipate changes in patient conditions, mobilize resources, and coordinate interdisciplinary care.Implement patient safety strategies and assess learning needs of patients and families.Actively coordinate discharge plans in a collaborative manner.Evaluate patient, team, and unit outcomes, making necessary adjustments.Demonstrate effective communication and conflict resolution skills.Promote a culture of safety by identifying threats and preventing harm.Apply ethical decision-making and participate as an integrated team member.Engage in quality improvement initiatives for enhanced patient care.Participate in professional development activities and complete annual competencies.Provide age-appropriate care and maintain knowledge of development principles.Licensure, Registration, and / or Certification Required :
Active Registered Nurse license in the practice state.Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.Education Required :
Graduation from an accredited Nursing program.Experience Required :
Minimum of 1 year clinical nursing experience.Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required :
