Controls Software Engineer

Controls / Embedded Software Engineer

Arvada, CO - in office

$120,000-$160,000

We're looking for a talented engineer with strong C programming and controls experience to help drive innovation in next-generation carwash automation systems. In this role, you'll develop software that integrates with complex hardware controls and supports both existing and new product development. You'll collaborate closely with an international team-including colleagues in Germany-on automation and machine integration initiatives.

Responsibilities :

• Design, develop, and debug embedded and controls software for carwash automation systems
• Analyze user requirements and develop test procedures
• Research, design, and modify control software to improve performance and functionality
• Write and maintain detailed technical specifications and documentation
• Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, and software engineers globally
• Support hardware integration and ensure seamless communication between systems
• Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and system analysis

Additional Information :

All positions are in-office due to the hands-on nature of hardware controls.

A short-term assignment in Germany (2 weeks to 2 months) may be required for cross-training with our parent company.
