Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details : \n

  • Work various shifts including 7 : 30 AM-8 : 00 PM, 9 : 30 AM-10 : 00 PM, 11 : 30 AM-12 : 00 AM, or 7 : 30 PM-8 : 00 AM

    • \n

  • 36 guaranteed hours weekly with 36 weekend hours required

    • \n

  • No call requirements or float requirements

    • \n

  • 1 year experience in level one trauma Emergency Department preferred

    • \n

  • Patient ratio of 1 : 4 with 63+ beds

    • \n

  • Care for patients ages 0-120 presenting to Emergency Department with any complaint

    • \n

  • Will NOT work in critical care / trauma rooms or triage

    • \n

  • If not familiar with pediatrics, will not be scheduled in pediatric areas

    • \n

  • Work with IV pumps and cardiac monitoring equipment

    • \n

  • Use EPIC electronic medical records system

    • \n

  • Required certification : ACLS mandatory

    • \n

  • Preferred certifications : ENPC, PALS, TNCC, CEN, CPI or MOAB

    • \n

  • Scrub color preference : light blue (hospital supplied) or any color acceptable

    • \n

  • Unacceptable attire includes hoodies and t-shirts with unprofessional sayings

    • \n

  • Must demonstrate teamwork and positive attitude

    Facility : \n

    This healthcare facility operates as the only Level 1 trauma center in the state, handling an average of 200+ visits per 24-hour period. The facility serves as a teaching institution and functions as both a stroke and STEMI center. The organization features a children's hospital within the main hospital and maintains a dynamic, team-oriented workplace environment. The facility serves large elderly and behavioral health populations, providing comprehensive emergency medical services to the community.
