Legal Secretary

Snelling Staffing is seeking a Legal Secretary and Paralegal for one of the oldest legal companies in Louisiana nearing years in the Baton Rouge Area. Our client offers a comprehensive benefits package including medical, profit sharing, K match, and much more! This position will be a direct hire position with a salary range of $45,-$50, depending on previous experience. The position will work closely with the casualty litigation attorney.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Maintaining attorney calendars
• Knowledge of filing documents in various courts
• Organizing and maintaining both electronic and paper files
• Entering attorney time
• Processing check request and expense and reports and editing bills
• Expert computer and communicational skills
• Ability to manage heavy workload and work with different types of personalities
• Always maintain a positive, professional attitude while working with different personalities
• Initiative to anticipate needs before they arise and ability to work with minimal supervision

A minimum of 5 years of experience in the legal field is greatly preferred, but recent college grads are also highly encouraged to apply.
