Role Description
As the Allocation Analyst , you will play a crucial role in ensuring our inventory is strategically distributed across all store locations and eCommerce. This role is a blend of allocation, planning, data entry, and operations, requiring a detail-oriented, analytical, and highly organized individual. You will work closely with our planning and buying team to optimize inventory distribution, execute transfers and consolidations, and support day-to-day operational functions that keep our business running smoothly. This role is in-office Monday-Friday, on site in Lynbrook, NY at our corporate headquarters.
Key Responsibilities :
Inventory Allocation & Transfers : Allocate merchandise across our 15 locations and eCommerce platform based on sales trends, store needs, and planning targets.Planning Support : Partner with our planner to set inventory targets by store and ensure accurate stock levels through replenishment strategies.Data Entry & Reporting : Maintain accurate inventory records, input allocation data, and generate reports to support decision-making.Operations & Logistics : Oversee product transfers, consolidations, and inventory adjustments to optimize stock distribution.Monthly Inventory Management : Assist with monthly inventory reconciliations to ensure accuracy across all sales channels.Cross-Functional Collaboration : Work closely with store teams, warehouse operations, and the planning department to streamline processes and improve efficiencies.Qualifications :
1-3 years of experience in allocation, planning, operations and inventory management (fashion planning / allocation experience required).Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data, forecast inventory needs and report out on business weekly.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with inventory management systems is a plus.Highly organized with strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities effectively.Strong communication and teamwork skills.Benefits :
