Job description

GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES

We are currently seeking a remote Integration Project Manager who can excel at effectively guiding projects and teams to successful completion in a timely manner. Ideally, the Integration Project Manager is an experienced healthcare technical project manager with an interest in the digital health industry. The Integration PM is responsible for supporting product knowledge and effectively communicating with varying internal and external roles including but not limited to leadership, administrators, peers, IT, and clinical liaison project team members. This role serves as the primary point of contact and subject matter expert for assigned integration projects and is responsible for meeting stakeholder needs and maintaining company objectives throughout the implementation process. The Integration Project Manager is also responsible for supporting sales discussions and collaborating to improve the launch process and procedures. The Integration Project Manager collaborates with team members to ensure a successful project installation and overall positive experience.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Scope, plan, and manage all technical aspects of integration projects.
  • Successfully prioritize project objectives (within each project and across supporting projects).
  • Manage several multi-faceted projects at once across varying EHR platforms.
  • Support Integration Analyst by providing needed project-specific information to complete handler creation and database set-up.
  • Communicate effectively in a fast-paced team environment across internal teams throughout various lines of business.
  • Establish a positive and productive culture among project teams and maintain that culture through stressful project cycles and setbacks.
  • Identify technical risks to the project and communicate them transparently to the team while providing solutions to mitigate those risks.
  • Track and manage timelines and objectives for multiple projects while providing weekly project status updates for peers and leadership.
  • Collaborate and communicate effectively with other team members included in the project scope.
  • Aid in scoping potential projects and engagements.

EDUCATION & CERTIFICATIONS

  • Education : Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Preferred Certifications : PMP
  • EXPERIENCE

  • Project Management – At least 7–10 years of project management experience, including large-scale IT deployment projects.
  • Vendor Management – Proven experience in vendor management and coordination.
  • Experience managing multiple types and sizes of EHR integration or technical projects.
  • Proven experience in overseeing or participating in the design and implementation of technical projects for software, systems, or products.
  • Experience across various types of integrations, including HL7, FHIR, API, etc.
  • Strives to lead and encourage strong, multidisciplinary teams.
  • KNOWLEDGE

  • Project Management – Familiarity with project management frameworks and tools.
  • Change Management – Knowledge of change management principles and methodologies.
  • Cloud Technologies – In-depth understanding of cloud computing principles, serverless architectures, and cloud-native development.
  • Regulatory Frameworks – Strong knowledge of compliance standards and best practices such as NIST, ISO 27001, SOC-2, PCI-DSS, HIPAA, and GDPR.
  • Continuous Learning Mindset – Passion for staying up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices.

  • Project Management – Ability to manage technical projects and drive cross-functional initiatives.
  • Communication & Leadership – Strong ability to present concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strategic Thinking – Align initiatives with business and IT strategies.
  • Technical Leadership – Guide teams in implementing best practices for clinical operations.
  • Detail-Oriented – Maintain strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Leadership & Mentorship – Strong ability to mentor and guide development teams, fostering technical growth and collaboration.
  • Effective Communication – Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear insights for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Project & Time Management – Skill in managing multiple projects, prioritizing tasks, and delivering high-quality solutions within deadlines.
  • ENVIRONMENTAL WORKING CONDITIONS

  • Position will be remote full time, except for project-related travel.
  • Project Manager may be required to travel for scoping and go-live events. The ideal candidate should be flexible to domestic and international travel, up to 50% of the time.
  • PHYSICAL / MENTAL DEMANDS

  • Requires sitting and standing associated with a normal office environment.
  • Manual dexterity using a calculator and computer keyboard.
