Description : 1st Shift Lead

Reports to : 1st Shift Warehouse Supervisor

Reporting Staff : None

Alternate in Case of Absence : Warehouse Clerks

Responsibilities :

• Assists the Supervisor in ensuring that all operations are completed in and with a high level of productivity and accuracy
• Needs to be versatile to be able to work in the department that needs help the most and to support them
• Complete knowledge of company GDPs
• Checks inbound / outbound freight for errors, damage, correctness
• Assists in arranging product within the warehouse
• Expert in RF gun and able to handle the tough situations on the floor
• Head trainer to warehouse operators
• Advocates for and supports all employees including new employees
• Should know all processes on the floor and be able to step in as shipping / receiving clerk
