Outside Sales Representative (Business Development)
To visit current or prospective customers and perform assigned outside sales responsibilities :
- Contact prospective and current customers to solicit sales for company products and services.
- Follows up with sales leads generated through incoming calls, advertising campaigns, and other promotional efforts.
- Travels to customer locations throughout the whole state to present company products, services, and pricing information.
- Applies technical knowledge of company products, services, and pricing information.
- Submits appropriate paperwork to management such as expense and call reports in accordance with training procedures.
- Understands and supports company sales policies and procedures to provide proper and effective service to all customers and foster the development of long-term business relationships.
- Assist and resolve customer complaints in a timely manner, notifies management of problems and suggests corrective actions.
- Collects and reports competitive information to management.
- Attends training activities and trade shows on behalf of the company to present information regarding company products and services.
- Initial training will be in our headquarters in Knoxville, TN.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
