The Administrative Specialist provides highly skilled professional support and performs administrative duties for the Associate and Assistant Vice Chancellors within the Executive Vice Chancellor's office. The Administrative Specialist serves as the first point of contact for office guests and is responsible for ensuring a professional and welcoming environment, overseeing general office management and maintenance functions. The Administrative Specialist is responsible for managing and coordinating multiple calendars for members of the leadership team, scheduling appointments, and assisting with prioritization of requests and re-prioritization when new issues arise. The position manages an array of general office functions and office suite locations, and provides broad support as needed (e.g. event support, special project support, backup to Executive Assistant). The Administrative Specialist provides impeccable client service to a wide range of constituents and guests, including university faculty, administrators, staff, students and alumni, campus guests, and external consultants and the general public.
