Citizens Memorial Hospital (CMH) in Bolivar, MO is hiring a Respiratory Care Technician to provide exceptional care for our patients in our Respiratory Care Department. CMH is made up of 34 primary and specialty clinics, 6 long-term care facilities and 1 residential care facility. About the department : The Respiratory Care Department sets a high standard for patient care and seeks to provide timely and quality respiratory therapies to inpatients, outpatients, and emergency patients under medical supervision. A typical day includes : Performing patient care duties under the direction of licensed personnel utilizing equipment, supplies, and procedures appropriate to the ages of the patients served, including infant, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient populations for all subsequent duties.

• Assist with patient assessments by collecting patient data and recording and reporting findings as appropriate
• Respond promptly to patient / staff requests for assistance
• Assure patient comfort measures are met by performing frequent rounding and anticipating patient needs
• Give and receive patient reports in an accurate and timely manner

Job Requirements :

The position is PRN (per requested need) working approximately 4 hours every 2 weeks.
