Travel Nursing Job Details Assignment Type : Travel Nursing Location : Silver City, New Mexico 88061 Unit : LDRP, Mother / Baby, Couplets, Nursery Facility Type : Critical Access Hospital Start Date : January 4, 2026 End Date : January 18, 2026 Duration : 2 weeks Shift : Night shifts, 3x12-hour (18 : 45 - 07 : 15) Hours per Week : 36 Estimated Weekly Salary : $1990-$2130 Patient Age Groups : Neonates, Adolescents, Adults EMR : Meditech or comparable EMR experience preferred Registered Nurse Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license Minimum 1 year of recent Labor & Delivery nursing experience Certifications : ACLS, BLS, AWHONN Intermediate, NRP Skills in Antepartum care, APGAR scoring, assisting with vaginal and cesarean deliveries, Couplet Care, Level I Nursery, and Mother / Baby nursing Proficiency with Meditech or similar EMR documentation preferred Ability to work night shifts and some holidays Must be able to arrive at facility within 30 minutes if on-call Travelers within 70 miles of Silver City, NM are considered local and are not eligible Campus is smoke / nicotine free L&D RN Responsibilities Deliver comprehensive nursing care to mothers and newborns in the LDRP, Mother / Baby, Couplets, and Nursery units Assist with labor and delivery procedures, including vaginal and cesarean births Perform APGAR scoring and antepartum assessments Provide Couplet Care and support Level I Nursery operations Document patient care accurately using Meditech or comparable EMR system Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes Float to other hospital units as needed, in rotation with staff Maintain compliance with Joint Commission standards and hospital policies Apply now to join our healthcare team and experience a rewarding travel nursing job in Silver City, New Mexico!
